The following is a listing of what D Bar J Acres has for sale. We try to keep this current, but an animal listed may be sold already or there may be others for sale that aren't listed yet. If looking for something, please check with us and we maybe have it or can help you find it.
Terms of Sale
All of our animals are healthy at the time of sale to the best of our knowledge, unless you are informed otherwise, and current on healthcare. We do not guarantee health on an animal after it leaves our premise due to the stress of transport or illness contracted after they leave our care, we are not responsible for any veterinary expenses you may incur. All animals sold as breeding stock are guaranteed free of genetic fertillity issues, we will replace that animal with another of equal value, when one becomes available, with proof from a qualified vet of a genetic fertility problem.
We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone. We do require a non-refundable downpayment to hold an animal for you. Already born goats are half down to hold 30 days, to reserve an unborn goat kid is $25 - which will be refunded if your choice of kid isn't born Any kid that is reserved in advance is required to have half paid down on the kid by 10 days of age. We reserve the right to keep your deposit should you change your mind on your purchase or if you do not contact us after we have tried to contact you.
If you are purchasing an unweaned critter, we will refund your money should the animal become injured or perish for some reason - this only pertains to while the animal is at our home, waiting to be weaned, if you purchase a bottle baby and it perishes at your home, it is not our responsibility.
All animals leave with their age appropriate shots, dewormed, hooves trimmed, and lots of love! We offer quality animals at prices most people can afford!
After an animal is ready for pickup, the buyer is to make contact to us (seller) within 10 days of said date, to arrange pickup within 14 days of said date. This condition stands unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon by both buyer and seller. Failure to contact seller or for buyer to refuse/ignore contact from seller via phone or email, will void contract and animal will be put back up for sale, any monies paid will not be refunded.
Shipping animals - We are willing to ship any animal at the buyer's expense and will help work out transportation. All testing or documents required for out of state transport are the responsibility of the buyer. All shipping costs are to be paid for by the buyer. Shipping goats will consist of buying a crate ($50-60) and airline ticket ($200 and up depending on where going, plus $25 fuel charge to run to CWA or $50 fuel charge to go to Minneapolis), we will provide health certs for animals over $300, otherwise there is a $20 charge. If you choose to ship your goat with a hauler, we will work with them to arrange pickup, but arrangements and cost are buyers responsibility. We will also help with meeting you or delivery up to 200 miles from Loyal, WI. $0.50 per loaded mile.
